INTERNSHIP WITH HILLEL AT FIU

Position: Social Media Intern

Hillel at FIU is a Jewish Organization on FIU’s campus that’s dedicated to facilitating Jewish life and culture on campus. When I was a sophomore in FIU, I joined Hillel at FIU because as a Jew, I felt a responsibility to share my culture and educate those who weren’t familiar and wanted a fun and meaningful experience. While I was involved with Hillel since I was a freshman, I officially started working with Hillel at FIU in 2018 as a social media intern. My internship was focused on producing content that was creative, interesting, and accessible. My job as a social media intern involved creating graphics and flyers while also working with my team to come up with a comprehensive posting schedule. In addition to working as a social media intern, I also volunteered to coordinate and host various events.
